Rite of the Opening of the Jubilee Year

On May 9, 2024, Pope Francis released the Bull of Indiction Spes non confundit (“Hope does not disappoint”) announcing the Ordinary Jubilee Year of 2025.

 Pope Francis will open the Holy Door at St. Peter's Basilica inaugurating the Jubilee of Hope on December 24th.
