Pastoral Council
- The St. Lawrence Parish Pastoral Council, as representatives of the community at large, exists for the purpose of articulating and implementing the mission of St. Lawrence Martyr Parish. The Council serves in an advisory capacity to the Pastor and gives counsel, advice and support.

- The Parish Pastoral Council serves in an advisory capacity to the pastor and gives counsel and advice on:
  Unifying the parish community by promoting communication and understanding;
  Analyzing and prioritizing future needs and vision of St. Lawrence Martyr parish in light of the Gospel and church tradition;
  Energizing the St. Lawrence Martyr community by encouraging leadership, inviting council members to participate in ministry, involving the laity in parish life, and in witnessing faith;
  Building and renewing the Council’s faith dimensions by providing opportunities for councilors to deepen their relationship with Christ, both as individuals and as a community;
  Listening to the Lord, to parishioners, and to the neighboring community as to what is happening in the Church and in the world, discerning the will of the Lord, using the wisdom of the Spirit of establish, to prioritize, to plan and to reach consensus.
Finance Council
- About the Finance Council
  The Finance Council is the chief advisory body to the pastor on fiscal matters. It is the Finance Council’s responsibility to assist in developing the annual budget, monitor its execution throughout the year and advise the pastor on all matters pertaining to finance. The Finance Council meets during the year to review balance sheets, income/expense statements and cash flow reports. The Finance Council also develops annual reports for both the Archdiocese and the parish, monitors salary administration for parish employees and ensures that proper accounting procedures are followed in all money matters. Church law (Canon 537) requires each parish to have a Finance Council and the Finance Council serves on a par with the Pastoral Council in the overall advisory leadership of the parish.
  
  The council consists of the Pastor, the Business Manager, and the School Principal (ex officio members), volunteer parishioners appointed by the Pastor and a St Lawrence Martyr School Board Representative (ex officio member).
